On January 16th, I hosted an online retreat via Zoom, which included two teaching sessions. The morning session, embedded below, had us examining Chapter 3 of the middle-grade novel Greenglass House. We looked for significant developments and then tried to distinguish what may have made some of those developments “turning points.” The afternoon session (also embedded below) focused on structuring turning points.

I’m including my presentation slides from both sessions, as well as my annotations on two turning points within the chapter.

If you have follow-up questions, post them here or email me. Thanks to all who could attend!
